Know the basic rules of protein. Doctors nutritionists all will promote certain brand. Don't be delusional stay on basic things. And it's not a rocket science. Stay on general. Nowadays there lots of experts just to promote a certain brand.

I think a much more important topic would be how most people are scared of protein shakes which is atleast made of 80% real milk but don't think twice before feeding their children sugary milo, Complan, boost etc etc which is giving them a blood sugar spike every now n then making them obese and pushing towards pre-diabetes, type 2 and then type 1 diabetes. As it reduces the insulin sensitivity over time then finally reach diabetes. How these companies are manipulating peoples mind with fancy advertising, promoting it as a health drink and luring children by offering attractive free gifts, i understand a lot of billion dollar companies involved in this but it's truth that needs to come out. Brittania crackers are advertised as diabetic friendly but it's made of refined wheat flour (maida) in what world is it safe for them??? As a fitness expert and lifestyle coach this pisses me off

  • Posted on May 31, 2022 at 00:18 am

  • Posted on Jun 01, 2022 at 09:45 am

Not clear. Is consuming protein powder helpful or harmful?

  • Posted on Jun 01, 2022 at 10:23 am

Protein powder isn't good for health, they promote it by saying its totally natural. I this it will definitely have side effects.

  • Posted on Jun 01, 2022 at 10:55 am

    Obviously

  • Posted on Jun 01, 2022 at 11:02 am

I can't digest protein concentrates, only expensive isolates. And I don't get enough. Being poor means nutritional needs are often sacrificed for immediate, higher priorities…like buying fuel for a car that gets me to a job. The government has taxed my food, income, gas, property, etc. and caused higher inflation so much that I'm worse off now than 20 years ago.

I'm not concerned about protein, when I'm not getting enough calories .

I dont like the protein shake powder. It stings to my nose. Yes, i was far away from it, and my brothers the one taking it.

It's never that simple. This report is completely disregarding the effects of Insulin, which is mostly triggered by Carbohydrates – a fat storing hormone.

WION why are you scared to talk about steroids

  • Posted on Jun 04, 2022 at 14:10 pm

It doesnt matter because its double even triple the price here where I am now to back in South Africa so it defeats the purpose. And to have it delivered from the UK is another 50 USD. So at the end of the day you the only one in the world paying 100 USD for a month's supply. It's just a capitalism.

Protein powder is an overhyped product by western companies. In India our desi wrestlers don't even go close to protein powder still they are lean and full of strength. Their diet includes pure vegetarian homemade food with desi ghee, vegetables, fruits, milk products and dry fruits.

  • Posted on Jun 07, 2022 at 21:50 pm

In other words there’s a protein shortage in the world. Stop eating all the damn protein up. My protein intake definitely helped me go from an obese 230 to a leaner more athletic 185.
